Neeraj Vora, actor and writer who came to prominence after starring in ‘Baadshah’ and ‘Hera Pheri’ has been in a coma at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) since October 2016 after suffering a heart attack and a brain stroke.
He has since been shifted into Feroz Nadiadwala’s residence in March where a temporary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has been constructed to ensure he recovers well.
He was the man behind hits such as ‘Hera Pheri’ and also donned the director’s hat in ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘Chachi 420’.
The special ICU room is filled with posters from his hit films and comes equipped with a TV and DVDs of his most prominent films. Vora also has access to a full medical team which includes a physiotherapist, acupuncture therapist, neurosurgeon and general physician who visit him weekly. A 24-hour nurse and ward boy monitor his recovery and look after him.
As reported by one of his friends, Vora has been showing progress and is on the road to recovery. His upcoming movie- which will be the third installation in the ‘Hera Pheri’ series has been put on hold until he recovers.
