Over 10 lakh students had appeared for Class 12 examination this year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the results for Class XII after uncertainty prevailed for over a week leaving students anxious.

The students can check the results on the board's website and the CBSE has advised them not to visit its office.

Anxiety and panic gripped students after the Delhi High Court had earlier this week ordered the board to continue with its moderation policy which was scrapped last month.

After contemplating moving the Supreme Court, the board decided against it as the process would have delayed the results further. Over 10 lakh students had appeared for Class 12 examination this year.

How to check CBSE Class 12 results 2017:

Log in the official website  www.cbse.nic.in or cbse.examresults.net

Click on the check results tab

Fill in your enrollment number and other necessary information in the required fields

Click submit

Your result will be displayed on your screen

Students can also download your results and take a printout for future reference

You can also view your results on third party web portals including indiaresults.com, www.results.nic.in
