Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir Stands Up For Transgenders, Dresses As A Woman At 7th Edition Of Hijra Habba

Gautam Gambhirt may not be playing for India right now but that does not mean he is not in the headlines. Be it for his humane gestures, charity work or nationalistic statements, he is always in the news for some reason.

Now he was seen appearing dressed as a woman. Gambhir was inaugurating the 7th edition of Hijra Habba. This program is organised by the Shemari society and when he came, he was made to dress like them. The pictures also went viral.

Transgenders face a lot of discrimination and are often victims to violence. This was Gambhir's way of saying that they were all human first.
