IndiGo Servers Down at All Airports, Passengers Left Stranded

Passengers of IndiGo airline were left stranded at multiple Indian airports as the airline's systems were down for about 90 minutes. A delay in flight operations was reported by passengers from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhopal, and Goa who took to Twitter to express their frustration. 

"Indigo airlines server is down since last 45 minutes at Delhi airport. No contingency plans. People are waiting in the queue," a passenger tweeted. 

 

"Thousands of the passengers are stranded at Mumbai airport due to fault in the servers of Indigo Airlines. No response is being given. The manual system is not working," one Ramakant Gaur tweeted.

 

Travellers from Bengaluru and Mumbai airport also being grounded due to a "technical snag" in the airline's servers. A passenger from Bhopal also tweeted that he is waiting for Indigo to begin operations.  

 

Abhinav Ranjan from Bengaluru from the Bengaluru airport tweeted that there is chaos inside the airport due to Indigo's stuck flight operations.

A passenger from Goa tweeted a video wherein passengers of the airline seem to be roiled about a 45-minute delay in take-off and engaged in an argument with the flight crew. 

 

"Indigo airlines, shame on you! GE 252 Goa-Indore on Sunday did not take off even after 45 min of passengers boarding the aircraft. The passengers started yelling and the captain of the flight came out. The  ground Staff was standing outside the airport and celebrating something while the passengers dying due to no air. Shame!," tweeted Neha Beri. 

 

The airline replied "we regret the inconvenience caused to our passengers this afternoon due to system being down across airports for around ninety minutes. Our flights and check-in systems are operating normally now".
