Manhunt has been launched to trace the woman cheat and her gang

A newly married woman has allegedly ran away with cash and jewellery from his husband's house in Latifpur village here, police said.

The husband's family has lodged an FIR at Dankaur Police station today.

"Manhunt has been launched to trace the woman cheat and her gang," police said.

According to the police, Manu had married the accused Geeta at a temple in Firozabad a week ago.

The middleman had taken Rs 1 lakh from the man.

On Sunday, Geeta's relatives came and took her to her parents' home.

Yesterday, when Manu went to Firozabad to bring his wife back, he found no one was there and their phone numbers were found switched off, police said.
