PIA flight's engine catches fire in Multan

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is making headlines again just days after its aircraft crashed in a mountainside in Pakistan on Wednesday.

According to officials, fire fighters put out the blaze that had erupted in the left engine of the ATR-42 aircraft.

 

All passengers were safe in the incident, according to Samaa.

Earlier on Wednesday, a PIA flight carrying 47 people had crashed en route to Islamabad from the northern city of Chitral. There were no survivors.
