A Jodhpur-bound SpiceJet plane, carrying 60 travelers, made an emergency landing the airport in New Delhi on Tuesday, after smoke was detected in the baggage compartment, according to news18.
The carrier was working a Q-400 airplane. Air Traffic Controller declared full emergency for the flight SG-2695 at around 1500 hours, source said.
The source said that reportedly smoke was distinguished in the stuff compartment and that there were around 60 travelers on board. There was no immediate remark from SpiceJet on the incident.
