Lilliana, 21, was crowned by Miss International 2016  Kylie Verzosa during the grand night at the Tokyo Dome City Hall  on Tuesday.

Lilliana said in her acceptance speech: “I still can’t believe it, it’s just like a dream come true for me. I thought I wouldn’t make it! Thank you so much for Miss International Organization for giving me this opportunity. I will spread the peace and world understanding, also cultural exchange to the world. To the Miss International Organization, arigatou gozaimasu. Indonesia, we did it!”

She was joined onstage by 1st runner-up Miss Curacao Chanelle Maria, 2nd runner-up Miss Venezuela Diana Garcia, 3rd runner-up Miss Australia Amber Dew and 4th runner-up Miss Japan Natsuki Tsutsui.

The lovely Lilliana also won the Miss Best Dresser award. Miss Australia Amber Dew won the Miss Perfect Body and Miss Japan Natsuki Tsutsui won the Best in National Costume.

Miss Philippines Mariel de Leon failed to make it to the top 15 and bowed out of the competition early.
