Terrorists Attack BSF Camp In Srinagar

Earlier today a BSF transit camp near Srinagar International Airport was attacked by terrorists. According to reports, one terrorist has been gunned down and three BSF personnel have been injured in the attack.

The episode began at around 4.30 am when terrorists tried to forcefully enter into BSF 182 battalion camp. The BSF camp that was attacked by the terrorists was located just outside the main gate of Srinagar airport.

The terrorist attack was met with retaliation by the security forces which led to the terrorist hiding inside the campus in one of the buildings. Heavy gunfire is underway, as per reports. Since the attack was first notified, no person or vehicle is allowed to go near the airport. The situation is now being controlled, and no casualties have been reported at the site of the attack.

The attack has taken place in one of the most fortified security areas of Kashmir. The area has a civilian airport as well as the technical airport for the Armed forces and VIPs. Two major training centers of the BSF and CRPF also have a base in this area.
