Recently, a photo of a woman in the Punjab Police uniform went viral on social media. From the badge one can tell that her name is Harleen Mann, and she is believed to be an SHO with the law enforcement force.
The photograph, of the evidently attractive woman, has been shared widely on social media, with people writing comments like “I surrender” and “people are in queue to get arrested”.
Well, reality check! The woman in the photograph is actually actress Kainaat Arora, and Harleen Mann is the name of the character she’s playing in an upcoming Punjabi film – Jagga Jiundae.
Arora clarified this on Instagram, adding that she had been bombarded with messages and posts after the picture went viral.
She’s also posted other photographs from the sets of the film.
Arora has appeared in Hindi films like Grand Masti and Khatta Meetha.
Sidenote: If Harleen Mann really was a police officer, social media totally disregarded the possibility that she could be a professional, and reduced her simply to a pretty face. Good job, guys!
