'Will you marry me': Man proposes in plane

It was a scene straight out of a Bollywood film, a proposal made on a flight and aerobridge. Passengers of the Indore-Goa Indigo flight on Sunday were surprised to find a man going down on his knees and making a proposal as they were boarding the plane.

Narendra Anandani, came to Indore from Nagpur, just to catch his heartthrob who was travelling to Goa.

“The girl had no idea that her lover would be at the Indore airport. She boarded her flight as usual,” Indore airport director Aryama Sanyal said.
Just as she had reached her seat in the flight, Narendra’s voice came over the intercom, and he proposed to her in front of all the passengers. Surprised by the move and his presence in the plane, the girl slowly made her way to the intercom.

Arrangements for proposal made by airline staff
Seeing her walk down the aisle, Narendra Anandani went down on one knee and held a rose to her which she accepted with a beaming smile. Furthermore, he had also requested the Indigo airline staff to hold placards with the magical words ‘Will you marry me?’ His efforts were reciprocated by his lover who said “yes”, and became his fiancé and they then flew for Goa. All arrangements for the proposal had been made by airline staff on request of Anandani. Airport director Aryama Sanyal congratulated airlines team for granting permission and helping the couple. “ Indigo airlines staff sprang to action and helped him propose in corridor of aero-bridge and inside aircraft,” Sanyal said.
