Bahrain announced Holiday for Islamic New Year

Bahrain has announced a public holiday on the occasion of the Islamic New Year.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa issued a circular today stipulating the 1440H New Year public holiday.

The statement said that the Kingdom’s ministries, departments and official institutions will be closed on Tuesday, September 11 corresponding to Muharram 1, marking this occasion.
