15-year-old boy commits suicide after posting warning on Facebook

In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old Egyptian boy committed suicide just days after he posted his 'death status' on social media site Facebook.

The teenager, Mohamed Yasser, seemed depressed and openly declared his decision to end his life. "I really must die. I won't say I want to die but I have to get rid of this nightmare I am in. If I ever commit suicide, don't say I did so because I am a teenager, and I am reckless. I have actually tolerated pain that no one can bear. Pray for me (if I ever kill myself)," Yasser wrote on Facebook on Friday.

After posting his suicidal thoughts online, Yasser's friends and followers advised him to find solace in God and patiently overcome his problems. Sadly, no one saw it coming and Yasser's body was found in the Mois Sea in Zagazig in the governorate of Sharqia on Sunday, according to Al Arabiya  report.

Residents informed security forces about a boy jumping into the sea and later it was confirmed that it was Yasser who took the extreme step. Security forces have initiated investigation and are yet to determine the cause that drove the boy to commit suicide.
