Video: Man granted dying wish, buried with his car

Fulfilling his dying wish, a man was buried with his car instead of the traditional coffin by his family in China.

The YouTube video of the silver Hyundai Sonata being lowered into a grave with the help of a large excavator in North China's Baoding City has created buzz online.

The man is said to have made a special request to his family in his will expressing his desire to be buried inside his car.

The video of the incident, which occurred on May 28, shows several villagers watching three men guiding the excavator to lower the car into the grave with concrete slabs, reports South China Morning Post.

The bizarre dying wish amassed attention of several social media users who wrote witty comments. "Luckily he didn't love planes," quipped one Weibo user. "A thousand years on, a museum guide can say 'This is an ancient means of transport - extremely slow, it can only go at 100km/h'," wrote another user.
