Will Middle East Crisis Trigger the World War 3, after Saudi Threatens to Invade Qatar?

Will the Middle East Crisis be the triggering point for the World War 3? After EurAsian Times reported that Saudi Arabia was concluding a deal to buy S-400 Missiles from Russia, now the Saudi King Salman has reportedly threatened to invade Qatar if Doha goes ahead and purchases the S-400 Air Defence System from Russia. Earlier, EurAsian Times also reported that Saudi was being helped by Israel to produce nuclear weapons and counter regional rival Iran. Is this the beginning of the World War 3?

According to a report by French daily Le Monde, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud wrote a letter to Emmanuel Macron – the French President, expressing “grave concern” over Qatar’s ambition, and ongoing negotiations with Moscow to acquire the S-400 Air Defence System.

The Saudi king wrote that Qatar’s acquisition of S-400 system will endanger the security in the Middle East as well of Saudi Arabia, and prompted President Macron to intensify pressure on Qatar to dissuade them from going ahead with the purchase of S-400 air defence system. King Salman threatened that Riyadh will take all required measures to eliminate the S-400 Deal, including military action on Qatar to protest Saudi interests.

With this multi-functionality in mind, its only opponent is the US Patriot, which boasts much more than their actual capabilities.

While the US has not yet to comment on the proposed purchase of Russian S-400’s by Qatar. However, the US has recently warned both Turkey and India over its decision to acquire the S-400’s. The US emphasized that Turkey should only be using NATO-compatible systems and buying them from “allies.”
