France's raises security threat after three killed in Strasbourg: minister

French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner on Wednesday said 3 individuals were killed in the Strasbourg Christmas market shooting and that 350 security specialists were hunting for the shooter who fled the scene, reported Reuters.

"He battled twice with our security force," Castaner told a news meeting held in the city. The attack additionally left 12 individuals harmed, he said. 

 

Minister Christophe Castaner said that France was raising the security threat level and would support the protection of Christmas markets elsewhere and strengthen border controls.
