Britain’s Got Talent is a British talent competition. There are lots of contestants who amaze its judges but only a few really stand out.
For instance, this Irish teenager had a standing ovation from the audience and from all four Britain’s Got Talent judges after her very emotional audition.
Leah Barniville is a 14 year old girl from Ratoath in Co Meath, Ireland and auditioned in BGT, showcasing her exceptional talent in singing. According to Leah, she started singing when she was just really young. She said she just couldn’t stop singing, like when she brushes her teeth or when she was trying to go to sleep.
She was told by the hosts that the judges were in a good mood so what she only had to do was to go out on stage and do her thing.
“I’ll do my best,” Leah answered.
She sang “Carusa by Lucio Dalla.” She stunned the judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Williams.
During the audition, she was accompanied by her aunt, parents, and brother, Daniel. What was more touching was after her performance, Daniel cried and proudly clapped for her old older sister. He said yes when asked if he is always her biggest fan.
Leah was commended by the judges, too.
“I thought that was honestly incredible and you’re 14 years old. You don’t know how good you are. A billion percent yes,” Simon Cowell said. He really liked the classical audition of Leah.
Judge Amanda Holden said that Leah’s audition was a flawless one.
