1.Brian Clough


If someone could be awarded the title of “Greatest manager in the world”, based on sheer charisma, there are few who could come close to the eccentric genius. He won two European Cups on the trot with Nottingham Forest which cemented his place among the greats of the game.

 

2.Arrigo Sacchi

The former shoe salesman was appointed as the manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world, A.C. Milan without any prior experience in professional football. He won the Serie A title in his first season with the club and also lifted two European Cups with the Italian giants. Sacchi is most famous for implementing the 4-4-2 formation which brought a new dimension to the game.

3.Carlo Ancelotti


Moving on to a manager who has tasted success as late as a few months back. Carlo Ancelotti has already gone down in history as of the greatest managers and it doesn’t look like he’s going to stop anytime soon. He won the Champions League with Milan and in the following year, he repeated the feat by winning it again along with the Serie A title. He lifted a Premier League trophy with Chelsea along with the FA Cup. He continued his winning ways when he moved to PSG and lifted the Ligue 1 title on multiple occasions with PSG and his crowning moment was guiding Real Madrid to La Decima, the fabled 10th European Cup success for the Madrid club. German giants Bayern Munich employed his services and he delivered a Bundesliga title in his first season with the club.
