Kuwait hopes GCC-US Summit in September will help resolve crisis

The State of Kuwait expressed hope that the GCC-US summit meeting would take place in September and contribute to turning over a new leaf in the history of the relations among the GCC member states.

This was stated by Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al Jarallah on the sidelines of a “Ghabqa” (dinner banquet in Ramadan) held by the Foreign Ministry of Kuwait in honour of the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State of Kuwait.

Kuwait News Agency (Kuna) quoted Al Jarallah as saying that the speech of  the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, during the inauguration of the Foreign Ministry’s Grand Hall on Sunday by the Amir of the State of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, on the Gulf crisis expressed feelings of pain and concern about the crisis between brothers.

Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah in his speech stressed that it is encouraging in this regard that Kuwait is led by H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
