‘Working in open’ ban lifted

Kuwait : Acting Director-General of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Abdullah Al-Mutawtah said the ban to prevent workers working under the direct heat of the sunlight from June 1 to Aug 31, between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm has been lifted, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Mutawtah pointed out during this period the inspection teams monitored all sites in all governorates to ensure companies and workers abide by the decision. He pointed out during the above period the inspection teams issued citations to 357 companies and cautioned 368 workers.

Meanwhile, police are looking for members of a gang who attempted to rob the ATM of a bank in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, reports Annahar daily. It appears the suspects attempted to break open the ATM and when they could not have access to the money, they escaped after damaging the ATM machine
