10 Actors Who Were Disgusted By Their Co-Stars (And Why)

2. Channing Tatum Was Disgusted That Alex Pettyfer’s Wouldn’t Talk To Anyone

Did you know that the actor Channing Tatum hated his co-star Alex Pettyfer? The two appeared in the 2015 film Magic Mike XXL and apparently, Tatum was disgusted by Pettyfer’s behavior.

Pettyfer said – “I sat in the corner and listened to music because I’d been told that anything I do was wrong by my reps and I was very insecure as a human being. That also gave me a bad rep because they said, ‘Oh Alex thinks he’s f***ing better than everybody else because he doesn’t speak to anyone.’ And that’s not true. I was genuinely nervous and scared to be myself.”

However, even after the movie ended Tatum went on hating Pettyfer, and for good reason. Apparently, Pettyfer had rented an apartment from one of Tatum’s friends and forgot to pay the rent. Tatum then wrote Pettyfer an angry email telling him not to be “a clown.”

1. Robert Shaw Was Repulsed By Richard Dreyfuss’ Pompous Behavior

The actors Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss co-starred in Jaws but apparently, they hated every minute of working together. Shaw thought that Dreyfuss was far too pompous. Roy Scheider, their co-star, said – “Dreyfuss would say, ‘What am I doing on this island? Why am I here? I should be signing autographs in Sardi’s. I should be feted all over New York City…’”

In fact, it is said that Shaw was so disgusted by how Dreyfuss behaved that he started taunting him on set – “[Shaw] really thought Dreyfuss needed a slapping down, [that he was a] young punk with no stage experience.”

Dreyfuss got so upset with how Shaw was treating him that at one point he actually grabbed a glass of bourbon that Shaw was drinking and threw it out the window, making Shaw hate him even more.
