Bedtime Recital: A Technique That Will Help You Remember Everything You Learn

Hard work is vital to achieve results, but if you can't remember what you study might not pay off. A good memory will help you score well now in exams and later in life. It is true that not everyone is blessed with a good memory. But you can build it by little efforts. An easy technique followed by many toppers is 'Bed-Time Recital'. 

 

This is how it works. You do a recital of whatever you learnt before hitting the sack. Even if you cannot recall everything, it is fine. Just write down whatever you can. You can also repeat things that you know in your head and then say it aloud. And, once you are asleep, your brain will arrange all the information you acquired through the day in a systematic manner. When you wake up the next day, this information will be well organised. And you will be able to reproduce it better. 

This is why when you sleep over a problem, you arrive at a better solution the next day. So, stay calm and write down whatever you know and read it aloud as many times as possible. Then just go off to sleep without thinking too much about it. Keep your surrounding noise free. This way you will not only be able to recall whatever you learnt the next morning, you will retain it for a long time. 

With this we are sure you will never crib about not remembering what you learn. Learning will be useful only when what you learn can be replicated effectively. You however need to practice this regularly. Consistency is key to habit forming. Be it a fitness regime or a study routine, you have to be regular to see better results.
