Bengaluru girl Karishma Walia, who works in Gurgaon in the Indian state of Haryana refused an arranged marriage with an 'eligible bachelor'. Reason? Wherever I go my dog goes too!
Buzzfeed India reports, the guy said that her dog Lucy was not welcome after marriage. A deal breaker for the girl, as she soon after she called off the wedding!
However the guy did not give up right away. The following messages on Whatsapp ensued. When she didn't budge from her stand, he furiously told her "to marry the dog in that case."
Walia told Buzzfeed, "He would say things like 'family should be a priority and not career. I gave up when he commented about my dog. I don't know why my family still thinks he's an eligible bachelor."
