That’s right, a wizarding escape room has landed just in time for Christmas.
The University of Magic traps punters inside their own dark arts academy in which they have to employ dragon potions, unicorn hair and common sense to find their exit.
Groups will have one hour to complete a string of tasks, casting spells and saying ‘Abracadabra!’ in the doing.
Unfortunately, there’s no fancy express train here. Simply walk to the Lucardo escape rooms in Manchester’s trendy Northern Quarter.
Director Adam Conroy said:
This escape room is nothing short of magical. Myself and the creative teams have worked hard to make this a truly immersive experience, and we want people to believe in this magical world of witches and wizards as they cast their spells.
It is going to be a fantastic game that will appeal to everyone from teenagers their mums and dads to students and pensioners.
We even have companies booking our rooms to encourage team-building exercises and the response from businesses has been very positive. You need people to work together to get out of an escape room.
