“My Son And His Wife Threw Hot Dal And Kerosene On Me”, Said The Father Who Won The Property Case Against His Son

After being harassed and tortured for years, an elderly couple has finally won a property case against their vile son.

The son and his wife are yet to vacate the house as being ordered by the court as a result of a long drawn two years battle.

Urmila Verma and her husband Shesh Nath Verma had managed to build a three-storey house in which they were residing with their son and his wife.

However, their son Ravinder Soni had been eyeing the property for a long time and when the old couple refused to hand it over, he started harassing them.

“My son threw hot dal at us and even got his wife to put kerosene on me. He has two sons who do not even go to school. He is spoiling their lives. In the absence of my husband, I do not even stay inside my room in fear of them,” said the mother.

The couple is currently living on the first floor. They told the court that their son had tried to intimidate them several times before as well.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the old couple has alleged that their son is not letting them repair or renovate the house.

Both of them run an electroplating business on their ground floor which they alleged was also shut once their son started intimidating them.

“Our monthly earning was around a lakh that has now become nil. I am not being allowed to run the business nor let out property,” said the father.

“He has ruined our financial condition so that we cannot fight him back,” he added.

The court in its judgment has restrained Ravinder from selling, transferring and creating any third interest in the said property.

They also directed him to pay Rs 1000 per month to his parents with effect from 2013 till the date of handing over the possession of the property.
