The Rich Arabs and Their Luxury Super Cars

The oil-rich United Arab Emirates is not just about sand, sky scrapers, beaches, mosques or desert safari, it is literally a paradise for car enthusiasts. Every rare exotic super car you might have come across in your life can be found here. A recent news report shows thousands of luxury and sports cars from Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari, Ranger Rover and Aston Martin have been abandoned by the rich residing in Dubai.

Another report portrays the wealthy Saudis, Qataris, Emiratis and Kuwaitis visiting the capital of United Kingdom to escape from the heat  of Arab. In addition to emptying their wallets on luxury brands and staying at the most expensive hotels, these wealthy Arabs are seen driving some of the hottest supercars in London. The photographers were able to capture pictures of a £400,000 Mercedes AMG, £1million Pagani Huayra, £300,000 Rolls-Royce, £300,000 Lamborghini Aventador, £400,000 six-wheeled Mercedes G63 AMG and a lot more.

In a country like UAE, the rich citizens, mostly the sheikhs,  are quickly able to update their already filled garage with the latest super cars in the automotive market, while the middle-class people satisfy their automotive interests by visiting places like Emirates National Auto Museum, Ferrari World and Yas Marina.

Let’s take a look at the garages of some of the richest people in the UAE and other Arab countries, to see their love for automotives.

1.Hamad Bin Hamdan al Nahyan

Sheikh Hamad, also known as “The Rainbow Sheikh”, is a billionaire belonging to Abu Dhabi ruling family. He is the biggest car fanatic you will see in the Emirates, with a pyramid shaped structure built especially to display his car collection to the general public. His car collection not only includes the latest super cars, but also the antique and some of the
old, recovered cars. One of his antique cars include Ford Model T, which has been restored to mint condition.

He also owns the world’s largest Dodge Power Wagon which weighs around 50 ton and is the most prominent vehicle in his museum. Inside this truck is a fully furnished apartment with 4 bedrooms, kitchen and western style washrooms. And the best part is, this truck actually runs and is powered by an inline-six Dodge diesel engine generating power of 300 horses.
The other usual sports cars in his possession are from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Porsche.
