Due to too much liberty and open-mindedness, a lot of young men and women engage to pre-marital sex which is slowly becoming a normal thing nowadays, in fact, being sexually active seems to be a social trend in today’s generation.
Some of the youngsters engage in pre-marital sex because of peer pressure while other willingly expose themselves to such activities in order to explore their sexuality. With that being said, it is only safe to assume that nowadays it is hard to find someone who is willing to stay pure until they found the one and commit to marriage. The famous TV host has been very vocal on her stand against sex before marriage, in fact, she proudly showcased her chastity ring to prove it. In one of her interviews, Nikki Gil admitted, “I think everyone knows and have made fun of it. Nobody told me to stay a virgin or because I’m a stuck-up pure na holy-holy. It’s my choice”. Rumor has it that Nikki and his former long-time boyfriend Billy Crawford broke up because the latter cheated on her because she does not want to engage in pre-marital sex. But despite the failed relationship, Nikki is now happily married to her businessman husband, BJ Albert.
Iya Villania
Long-time celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano are now happily married with a cute little son, but they have also been very vocal that they waited until marriage before engaging in sexual activities. Iya said in one of her interviews, “You know, I don’t look down upon other girls who practice it. It doesn’t make you less of a person. Kanya-kanyang values ‘yan e. But, personally, I do believe that one should not practice pre-marital sex.”
