In an age where smartphones are a life source to us all, it isn't any wonder why distracted driving has become a serious problem. But how can local governments get through to us millennials, and really drive home the message (you're welcome for the pun) about distracted driving?
Well, the Iowa Department of Transportation has one idea.
The Iowa DOT now has a Taylor Swift-inspired traffic sign.
If you aren't familiar with the lyrics (what rock have you been living under?), they're from Taylor's most recent hit, "Look What You Made Me Do."
As it just so happens, the song's phone reference works perfectly for the Iowa DOT's message.
What better way to communicate with millennials about safe-driving practices than to reference one of the most talked-about songs of the year?
