Qatar has become a melting pot of cultures during the past couple of decades. Doha city, in particular has become a crucible where cultures, practices, traditions from different corners of the world meet and interact. There are exotic far-east cultures and traditions that fuse with the local practices to give birth to vibrant society. 

Qatar affords the opportunity of international exposure to people from all around the world as every culture is amply represented in the country. Although, the population of Qatari citizens is fractional in comparison to the population of expats there still is a lot that expats can learn and embrace from Qatari culture and practices. Qatari culture personifies hospitality. People of Qatar are known world-over for their generosity and courtesy. Hospitality is shown regardless of its personal costs and it is expected that the same courtesies will be extended in return. This is something that expats can imbibe from the Qatari culture and become sociable with other communities instead of living in community clusters filled with people from their countries.
