He intends to keep the name until he has children.
How far would you go just to get your hands on an iPhone? Apple fanatics and devotees flock Apple stores to get their hands on one. But what about the interested people who cannot afford to buy the all new gadget? This Ukrainian man takes his fanaticism to a whole new level.
20-year-old young man formally known as Olexander Turin decided to change his name to “iPhone7”. The reason behind it? Apparently, an Apple store in Ukraine promised to give away brand new iPhone7’s to the first five customers who would change their names to the said phone. Olexander then changed his name to “iPhone Sim (seven)”.
It only takes $2 to change his name, while it takes $850 to buy one phone! If you really think about it, it is actually a good deal—especially when you can change your name again anyway. But according to Sim, he doesn’t intend to change his name until he has children.
The report added his sister Tetyana Panina saying, “It was difficult to accept that and hard to believe it’s true.” She added: “Each person in this world is looking for a way to express himself. Why not to do that in this way?”
