The life of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) is not easy. Aside from the multiple jobs they take just to earn enough money for their families, they also experience constant homesickness and usually have to go through everything alone. 

Thou they are considered modern day heroes due to their dollar remittances’ great help to the Philippine economy, some of their struggles never reach the light.

Thankfully, this video showing the plight of OFWs is spreading like wildfire across the Internet. 
In the video, children were seen wailing as their mother was about to leave the country again to work abroad. The mother was obviously pained, but was trying to hold back her tears in order to placate her children. 

Many netizens were able to relate to what the mother and her children were going through, as this is the most common and one of the hardest struggles of an OFW – leaving your family, especially your children, behind.

The video was posted by the Facebook page "Filipino Netizens" with the caption: 
“Ganito ang kadalasang eksena at pinagdadaanan ng mga OFWs bago umalis ng Pilipinas para mangibang bansa para mag trabaho nansaganon ay mabigyan ng magandang kinabukasan ang mga anak.."
