In a related incident, detectives from General Department of Residency Affairs disclosed that a joint team of officials from the Medical Licensing Office,ministry of Interior and Ministry of Health received a tip off concerning a woman who had been impersonating medical personnel at a private clinic in Salmiya area.

The woman was reported to be practicing medical profession and giving patients injection without the relevant license. Preliminary investigation indicated the woman, 1988-born Egyptian named Daliya Yousef, currently in the country as a housewife and under the sponsorship of her husband Abdullah Mustafa was on the job for six months receiving salary.

The officers also arrested six people for violating residency law. One of them claimed to be a plastic surgeon; alongside three nurses on visas 22 and 18 respectively and working without medical license. Another woman was working as a receptionist on Visa 22 with a cleaning worker also on Article 20 Visa was taken into custody.
