UAE resident finds Dh40,000 on street, returns it to police

Police honoured him with a certificate and a gift.

An Arab resident has been respected in Abu Dhabi for giving over Dh40,000 he found amidst the road. An Asian resident had lost the sum in Al Dafra. 

Mahmoud Khaled Al Shibli gave over the sum to the police, after which the police respected him with a declaration and a gift. 

 

Colonel Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, chief of the criminal security division of Al Dhafra Police Directorate, focused on the police's perception to urge people to coordinate in "combating crime before it occurs".
