Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance announced, Expat worker has died after a falaj collapsed on top of him in Rustaq, Timesofoman reported.
According to authorities the falaj was under maintenance at the time.
In a statment online PACDA said, “A team from the public authority represented by the Department of Civil Defense and Ambulance in the governorate of South Batinah, in addition to the search and rescue team, were able to remove a worker of an Asian nationality following the collapse of a falaj during maintenance work in Wadi Al-Sahtn in Wilayat Rustaq, that resulted in the death of the worker.”
