Google celebrates Oman's National Day with homepage doodle

Google is participating in the Sultanate's celebration of the 48th National Day in its own way, by putting up a doodle of the Omani National Flag on the Google.com and Chrome browser homepages.

When users click on the animated flag, it takes them to website links, videos and photos about the Omani National Day.

National Day in Oman is celebrated on November 18, the birthday of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said. This year, the government announced November 20 to 22 as public holidays to celebrate the occasion.
