Most people’s new year’s resolutions include dieting on their list however most of us cannot stick to this resolution because let’s all admit that it’s really hard to lose weight given all the temptations openly available wherever you go.

It really takes guts and discipline in order to engage to reaching the goal of getting fit and having a healthier lifestyle. One must not just only commit but must also be dedicated and fueled to reach this goal.

Let’s take 23-year-old Amber Rachdi as an example. Amber had really a serious problem when it comes to her weight. Before reaching the body she has now, Amber weighed 273 kg and was not able to go out from their house as most of her weight went down to her lower body which made her legs to be as thick as a tree trunk.

Her obesity was due to eating disorder which triggers her to binge eat. Because of her weight, she had also developed anxiety disorder causing her to eat more to make herself calm down.

Amber’s obesity started when she was 5 years old, the time when she weighted 72 kg, weight equivalent to a male adult.

Before suffering from more serious health problem, Amber decided to lose some weight so she can undergo surgical procedures to further control her body from gaining weight.

Amber lost 9 kg and went under the knife to hasten her weight lost.

The operation was successful and now Amber is living a normal life and serves as an inspiration to everyone who are battling the same situation she had.

“I am full of hope now and a whole new world is accessible to me. I am no longer the Amber who used to be trapped inside a room,” Amber told on her interview.
