Three Filipina were killed in Santa Maria, California after another vehicle crashed into their car at an intersection.
The victims were identified as Necitas Santa Maria, Leonicelle Abaigar, and Abaigar’s daughter Andrea, who were all declared dead-on-the-spot. The driver of their car, identified as Catleen Dionisio, is the lone survivor among them. She sustained injuries and is receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the area, reported Balitang America.
Meanwhile, investigators said the driver of the other vehicle that hit the car of the victims was driving recklessly, adding that drugs and alcohol are possible reasons for the crash. The driver also sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
No update on his condition was given.
