The Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered an investigation against the recruitment agency of the slain OFW Joanna Demafelis.
Over the past few weeks, Pinay maid Joanna Demafelis’ demise has been one of the most discussed topics in the country after the authorities found her dead body inside the freezer of an abandoned apartment in Kuwait.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported that the suspects responsible for the death of the slain OFW have been already arrested.
The suspects were identified as Nader Essam Assaf, a Lebanese national and her wife Mona Hassoun, a Syrian woman.
Recently, the Twitter page “The Philippine Star” reported that the Justice Department has ordered to investigate Demafelis’ recruitment agency “Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Global E-Human Resources Inc.”
DOJ order the probe against the agency to find out its possible liabilities in relation to the death of the Pinay Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).
If DOJ could find any pieces of evidence related to the death of Demafelis, the department would file corresponding charges against the agency.
