This Is Sgt Saman Guana - The Thai Navy Seal Who Died Saving Children Trapped In Thailand Cave

The eyes of the entire world are fixated at the rescue operation of 12 kids who are stuck inside a cave in Thailand. These kids who were just wandering and somehow travelled almost 6 miles in, were stuck when the water from rainfall swept inside the Tham Luang cave.

In a bid to save them, a rescue operation was launched where divers went inside the cave with oxygen tanks to bring the kids outside. Part of this operation was a former Navy Seal who died overnight during the effort to rescue the 12 boys and their coach.

The seal died because of lack of oxygen, as reported by Thai authorities.

Sergeant Saman Guana, who was 37-years-old and died in cold water around 2 am will now be sent back to Sattahip Naval base from where his body will be sent back to his family. We can only imagine how devastating this loss is for his family. People all over the world are lauding his efforts and supreme sacrifice.

His funeral will be conducted in his hometown in Rioet Province, in the north-east of Thailand. We pray that his family finds the strength to cope with this loss.
