A pet dog in Cebu City, Philippines, is touching hearts online after a video went viral showing him taking public transport to chase his master.

The clip posted by Facebook user Nova Tapuyao shows the dog apparently looking lost as it takes a ride in a public jeep. The post reads: 'My sister on her way home found this cutie riding a jeepney looking anxious and then this happens." The viral video was captured by Tapuyao's sister.

According to Tapuyao, the incident occurred on a Friday morning when the dog hopped onto the jeep from the Cebu Provincial following his master. The canine is seen looking out of the jeep window as fellow passengers can be heard in the background, startled and surprised. 

The dog finally finds its owner as the jeep halted at Cebu City's Guadalupe-Banawa intersection, next to a multi-cab. When the woman sees her dog leaping out of the jeep, she immediately rushed out of the cab and carried her dog along. "Ali diri, naboang, dali," ("Come here, unbelievable. Quickly!"), she can be heard saying in the video. 

The video has garnered 1.8 million views, over 38 thousand shares and 35 thousand reactions, according to reports in TFT.
