Qatar Airways announces to upgrade services on Seychelles route to an A330 aircraft

Qatar Airways will upgrade its service on the Seychelles route to an A330 aircraft from October 29, in an effort to meet rising passenger demand.

In a statement, the airline noted that the 260-seater A330 aircraft will increase the current daily capacity by 130 per cent on the route, connecting Seychelles-based passengers to more than 150 destinations globally.

The CEO of Qatar Airways Group, Akbar al-Baker, said that by providing more capacity on board the A330, Qatar Airways will be able to offer even more passengers from around the globe the opportunity to experience the idyllic white sand beaches of the Seychelles.

He added that the enhancement demonstrates Qatar Airways’ commitment to the local market and to the many passengers each month who choose to fly to this popular destination with the airline.

The Airbus A330 aircraft features 24 seats in Business Class and 236 seats in Economy Class, and enables passengers to enjoy the airline’s superior entertainment system, Oryx One, offering countless entertainment options.

It may also be noted that the award-winning airline is preparing to celebrate its one-year anniversary of flying to the Seychelles later this year.
