The Foreign, Political and National Security Affairs Committee discussed the draft periodic report on the political situation and the latest political developments in the Arab world.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Committee discussed a proposed study for the legislation of a model law to achieve food security.

It also discussed a proposed study for the legislation of a model law to attract Arab capitals to the Arab world and the arrangements for the economic integration seminar, which will be held in October under the theme "Facilitating Trade and Investment in the Arab world".

On the other hand, the Legislative, Legal and Human Rights Committee reviewed a draft resolution on the decisions, reports and misinformation of some regional and international organisations on the situation of human rights in the Arab world, especially the recently issued by the European Parliament on the human rights situation in some Arab countries, in addition to the draft "Report of the State of Human Rights in the Arab World 2017".

The Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs Committee discussed the draft unified Arab guiding law on higher education and scientific research, and the follow-up of the arrangement for a conference on Arab refugees and displaced women and children, paving the way for the preparation of an Arab draft law to protect the rights of refugees and displaced Arab women and children.
