A man was saved from a terrible fate after he was saved by the father of the man he had killed.
Minutes before he was about to be executed in an open field, the father of his victim pardoned the killer. The father was identified as Mohammed bin Dawas Al Baladi.
In a viral clip on social media, people are seen carrying the supposed father’s victim on their shoulders and paraded him around. Even the security guards are glad to witness the rare incident.
The killer was convicted for murdering Al Baladi’s son in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, netizens are also lauding the decision to give a man a second chance.
“I would hope if anything half as bad of this happened to one of my children, I would have the same strength to forgive them because everyone deserves a second chance no matter the crime,” read one comment.
