Saudi man arrested in his 30s for assaulting a police officer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, reported Saudi Gazette.
The issue began when the man defied the instructions given by a part from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
The commission staff called for assistance from the police who arrived and endeavored to defuse the circumstance.
The warmed contention continued between the attacker and the commission staff, and amidst that, the Saudi man slapped the cop.
More officers touched base at the scene and gradually defused the friction.
They at that point arrested the Saudi for attacking the police officer and transferred him to the Public Prosecution for further action.
