Saudization in 5 key sectors from today

Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development begins implementing Saudization in five key areas from  today (Jan. 7) (Jamad Al-Awwal 1), reported Saudi Gazette.

As indicated by the ministry’s directives, jobs in building and  construction material shops, medical appliances and equipment shops, car spare parts shops, shops moving selling and confectionary shops and patisseries, will be nationalized in the 3rd period of Saudization of 12 major sectors.

 

Inspectors, both male and female, from the ministry will begin assaults on these shops and punitive measures will be taken against the violators.

In the main stage, the service began actualizing 70 % Saudization in vehicle and motorbike showrooms, shops selling readymade articles of clothing for men and youngsters, home and office furniture shops, and shops moving kitchenware successful from Sept. 11 (Muharram 1). 

The second period of Saudization began from Nov. 9 (Rabi Al-Awwal 1), which secured electrical and hardware shops, watch shops and optical stores. In the interim, the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) has changed its branches over the Kingdom into work focuses to help Saudi jobseekers. 

Khaled Abalkhail, representative of the store, said that upwards of 22 branches of HADAF in different urban areas and locales of the Saudi Arabia have been changed into specific focuses to help work searchers take up jobs in the private sector.
