We may well be seeing the high-water mark of the global warming fraud. Even in green Germany, recent elections yielded a shift in political support away from the country's energy transformation and global warming initiative.
With over 30 percent of their electricity from renewables, Germans felt the pain of exorbitant electric costs and the ravaging of their idyllic countryside to accommodate ugly wind farms. And, for the past decade, they have made essentially no reduction in CO2 emissions. (Meanwhile, we Americans reduced ours by 15 percent). They've had enough.
The Trump administration is intensely focused on assuring clean air and water and remediating contaminated sites. Federal global warming initiatives are becoming a distant memory. Some state administrations have vowed to continue the fraud. It remains to be seen how much damage they will still be able to inflict.
Academia facilitates this by intensely brainwashing students with the discredited Old Testament of global warming theology. Undoubtedly absent is any recognition of the hundreds of research reports annually (more than 400 this year to date) debunking human fuel use as the driving factor in changing climate.
This year's United Nations global warming conference in Bonn, Germany, ended with little more than a plan to continue with the aimless plodding leaving the agreement's underlying fraud increasingly obvious.
Alarmists are screaming loudly to rush into their "global warming solutions." Scam artists characteristically press their victims for quick action particularly when their deception is being revealed. We must resist them.
