1. System Configuration

To access System Configuration Option, press Windows + R keys and type “msconfig” in the “Run” dialog box. A multiple tab appears to configure the system such as :

Boot

This let you change the boot options like boot Info Safe Mode, Change the OS settings and many more.Just check the “Advanced options” to control and limit the RAM usage.

Startup
In Windows 8/10, you will find this option in Windows Task Manager.
Here, you should disable programs that is making the response time slower and stop those programs which are eating more resources.

2. Event Viewer

If you are using Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, then you can have a options of built-in data usage tracker to know the amount of internet data you have used. If you have limited Internet Data Plan, then this feature can help you save from extra usage charges. Just go to Settings and click “Network & Internet” and view your usage details.

4. System Information

If you are still using My Computer Properties to know about the system, then this tool will surely help you to know more. It's always important to know the details regarding hardware and software of your PC in case you are buying or troubleshooting your PC.
The System Information tool will offer all the information you will ever need regarding the hardware and software of your PC.You can access System Information tool from the Administrative tools in the Control Panel.

5. Startup Repair

Windows 8 and Windows 10 come with a native “Startup Repair” tool that help to fix common startup problems that slow down the boot process and prevent Windows Startup.

Just go to Troubleshoot in the boot option, in troubleshoot click on Advanced Options and then go to Startup Repair to auto scan and fix all the startup issues.
