Dubai's water, theme parks cut entry fees

Leisure parks can be exciting for everyone, but the cost of tickets, as well as food and other related expenses, can easily drain the bank account.

A trip to a theme park can set one back approximately Dh150 to Dh840 per person. That’s about Dh600 to Dh2,520 for a family of four on a day out.

The good news is that a number of amusement parks have recently slashed their door prices and UAE residents can save up to 50 per cent off on tickets and incidental expenses.

With the discounted rates, residents can enjoy a day at a water park, maybe frolic with the dolphins or hit the slides, or spend Ramadan nights out with the family for less amount of money.

Among those offering money-saving deals, the Aquaventure Waterpark of Atlantis hotel at The Palm Jumeirah has launched a summer Splash Sale that promises up to 50 per cent off on some water-themed attractions.

Residents who book today can score 50 per cent off on tickets to Aquaventure Waterpark, now priced at Dh138, and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, now selling at Dh53.

The newly opened Laguna Waterpark at La Mer in Dubai is offering UAE residents a special price of Dh99 if they book online this Ramadan. That’s a saving of Dh26 on the door price of Dh125 per person.
