A 29-year-old Emirates airlines cabin crew member is all set to compete in the upcoming Miss World 2018 pageant which will take place in Sanya, China on December 8.
Linzi McLelland, who has been working as a flight attendant for the Dubai-based airline, will be representing Scotland in the prestigious international pageant after she was crowned Miss Scotland back in June.
But while some beauty queens would temporarily leave their day jobs to attend to their duties as pageant titleholders, McLelland did not bid farewell to her work in Emirates.
McLelland decided to continue working as a flight attendant post-coronation and was even seen in two of the airline’s promotional videos.
Just recently, McLelland was seen in the promotional video of Emirates wherein they introduced the launch of direct flights from Dubai to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.
“Did you know that Miss Scotland 2018 is also Emirates cabin crew?” the video’s caption read.
McLelland would also regularly post photos on her Instagram account showing her life as a flight attendant for Emirates.
