January 1 announced holiday in the UAE

Tuesday, January 1 will be an official holiday for the public and private sector in the UAE to mark the New Year 2019, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Federal Authority for Human Resources, responsible for the public sector, announced on Thursday, reported the gulf times.

 

Official duty will resume on Wednesday, January 2. 

On the occasion of New Year, ministry expressed their congratulations to President HH Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, citizens and residents.
